Approximately 95% of all Friday's between the hours of 10:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. we will be meeting at Lickitty Stitch, 1275 Mt. Read Blvd., Rochester, New York, 14606. On occasion, we as a group are invited to participate in such events as the Rochester General Hospital - Heart Health Fair, Pain Teaching Day, and others. The Internal Medicine Complementary and Alternative Medicine Teaching day at Rochester General Hospital, and the Strong Memorial Hospital - Hands on CAM Therapies events give our group the opportunity to share our skills with physicians, nurses, and medical students. These activities are so rewarding to us all and as our reputation grows so do the requests. It is very exciting to see medical students who are interested in using Reiki in there daily practice.
Speaking of daily practice, it should be noted here that this group gets its heart and soul from Dr. Brian Dailey who is a Reiki Master and had the foresight to organize this group. Dr. Dailey is a full time attending physician in the emergency department at Rochester General Hospital and now is at the new URGENT CARE NOW offices at 60 Barrett Drive Suite A, Webester, NY.. Congratulations Brian on your new venture (Urgent Care Now).
Everyone is welcome and there is no charge for either a treatment (usually 20 to 30 minutes long) or to perform Reiki on others. Our only request is the you bring a healthy dish to pass. Most people plan on 2 to 3 hours here and during that time you will have the opportunity to observe, to receive and to give Reiki. Of course during your visit you will want to sample the fine foods that participants bring.
We are a most open minded group and being such we use things like crystals, dowsing, aromatherapy, oils (Young Living Oils), sound ( Hemi/Sync (R)) which is audio/video, crystal bowls, drumming, vocal sounds, etc.), reflexology, massage, (no needles) acupressure and others to enhance the Reiki experience and energy.

We have at our Reiki sessions, the use of two electronic (positive energy) marvels. The first is called a Perkl-light.
